After years of training, Kate Kane returns to Gotham to become a member of her father Jacob's security team, the Crows. Batman disappeared three years ago, and Gotham is just now beginning to adjust to his absence. When the Wonderland Gang abducts Kate's former lover Sophie, Kate discovers a secret about her cousin Bruce that will change her life... and the lives of everyone in Gotham.

Kate believes that she has found Beth, but Jacob insists that his other daughter is dead. Dodgson goes after Mary, and a third party tries to get hold of Alice's knife and the DNA which can identify its owner.

Bruce's childhood rival Tommy Elliot throws a party to celebrate the purchase of a new building. Kathy considers whether she's doing more harm than good as Batman's heir apparent. Mary gets a new bodyguard, and Alice promises Kate that she'll "be good" for 24 hours to get Dodgson back.

There's a a new villainess in town, and Batwoman tries to establish her reputation as "The Bat" by bringing her to justice. Meanwhile, Alice blackmails Catherine, Mary gets a new patient, and Kate discovers the pitfalls of a double life.

Alice takes Kate down the sad, winding road of her life in the days after the accident as Jacob and Sophie attempt to track them. Mary has an argument with Catherine which sends her looking for Kate at Wayne Tower, but instead she becomes unwelcome company for Luke.

A new killer murders two victims, and the GCPD reaches out to Batwoman to help them. Jacob doesn't want a masked vigilante helping them and launches his own search for the killer. Meanwhile, Alice and Mouse talk about their future together, and Mary and Sophie have a heart-to-heart.

Sophie goes to Jacob and tell him that Kate is Batwoman. Kate meets an old friend as Alice hires an assassin to come to Gotham and kill anyone who knows about the coil accelerator gun.

Alice plans a "tea-party" for Gotham and targets Catherine in particular. Kate is torn between her sister and her step-sister, and must choose a side.

The Monitor sends two teams to find the Paragons of Truth and Courage. Sara, Mia, and Barry recruit Constantine to help them bring back Oliver, while Mick reads Jonathan his favorite story.

While Gotham busies itself reacting to Batwoman's awkward encounter, Alice celebrates her ultimate act of vengeance with Mouse . A devastated Mary focuses on Jacob Kane's trial, while Sophie seeks advice about her love life from someone unexpected. As they tackle the newest threat to Gotham, Luke prioritizes protecting Batwoman's secret, and Kate must decide what she is willing to do to honor Batwoman's identity...and her own.

On the Kane sisters' birthday, Kate and Alice contend with demons from the past, and an unexpected guest makes a surprise appearance in Gotham.

As Kate is pulled between two sisters, Luke and Mary are tasked with finding the cause behind Beth's debilitating headaches. A visitor delivers some good news to Jacob, while Sophie takes her new role to the extreme and Alice makes a devastating discovery.

Focused on no longer being a victim, Ryan takes the suit to use as armor and goes rogue in the streets of Gotham, taking out various members of a new gang called the False Face Society. Meanwhile, both Jacob Kane and Luke Fox launch searches for Kate, Mary Hamilton (Nicole Kang) grapples with losing yet another family member, Sophie Moore struggles with things left unsaid to her first love, and Alice is furious that someone got to Kate before she could exact her revenge. At the same time, "Bruce Wayne" returns under the pretense of searching for Kate, but the truth is he wants his suit back and it becomes the clash of imposters as "Batwoman" and "Bruce" square off.

After her quick spin in the Batgear, Ryan Wilder is back to facing the daily challenges of life as herself; Alice has a new, devious plan to get the attention of both Gotham and Safiyah; Ryan comes face to face with Alice for the first time.

As Ryan Wilder continues to prove herself as Batwoman, she encounters the challenge of every superhero – living a double life. Mary is still Team Ryan, while Luke continues to have reservations – especially when Ryan makes some alterations and unveils a new Batsuit! Meanwhile, Victor Szasz is slashing his way through the city streets, and Commander Kane has The Crows trying to stop the flow of Snakebite through Gotham. Safiyah takes notice of Alice's antics and Sophie finds herself in unexpected circumstances.

As Batwoman attempts to fight the proliferation of Snake Bite through Gotham, a random encounter forces her to revisit her painful past. Empowered by her new role, Ryan Wilder is determined to ensure others like her don't go unnoticed. Meanwhile, those closest to Kate are given a good reason to believe she is still alive, forcing unexpected alliances and betrayals.

Batwoman is approached by Commander Kane and Agent Moore to boost an infamous work of art that reveals the way to Coryana - and Kate. Despite her reservations, Luke and Mary convince Ryan to take the assignment, causing tensions within the Bat-team to escalate. Meanwhile, as Alice attempts to fulfill Safiyah's insidious request, she slowly discovers that she may not remember everything about her time on Coryana.

Mary returns from a late night out not feeling quite herself, while Alice's hallucinations grow stronger. As the terrifying evening unfolds, Ryan witnesses another side to Marquis and her mother.

An unnerving discovery in a garden shed sends Renee Montoya rushing to Ryan to ensure the city is on high alert. Her terrifying theory – a Bat Trophy has entangled a new host, and her thorny ways are weaving their way through Gotham. Alice is suspiciously eager to help the Bat Team, and Sophie seeks vengeance for an incident involving her sister.

As Ryan's family dynamic grows more complicated, she also finds herself in the middle of a Bat Team stand-off between Luke and Mary. Meanwhile, Alice finds a new sidekick to do her bidding.

At the same time, Mary feels drawn by a powerful force and Alice suddenly feels very protective of her stepsister. Meanwhile, Jada hasn't given up on rehabilitating Marquis and seeks the help of an old friend.

Batwoman's hands are full as she juggles Jada's demands, Mary's ever-increasing power and a new romantic entanglement. Loyalties are tested and motives come into question as Batwoman races against the clock to once again save the city and those closest to her.

Just when it seems things can't get worse…Batwoman's identity is once again at risk of being exposed, and some of Gotham's most villainous unite. Sophie joins Luk on a mission and Alice gets into Mary's head.
