Luke tries to keep a low profile and pay his bills by working two jobs. However, he gets into trouble anyway when he has a one-nighter with a police detective, who is investigating an arms deal that local crime lord Cornell "Cottonmouth" Stokes was engineering.
Pop asks Luke for help finding Chico so that he can set up a parlay with Cornell to get his money back. However, Cornell's lieutenant Tone has other plans.
After Pop's death, Luke sets out to take Cornell down by taking his money. However, both Cornell and Misty figure out that Luke is responsible.
As Luke fights for his life beneath a toppled building, he remembers his past and the experimental treatment at Seagate Prison that gave him his powers.
Cornell takes the battle to Luke when he tells his men to squeeze the people of Harlem for everything they have... and blame Luke. Meanwhile, Misty receives word that her partner Scarfe may be crooked.

When Luke busts into his club, Stryker turns the situation around and makes Luke look like the guilty party. Meanwhile, Misty's life is in danger and Claire is the only one who can help her.
After the events at the club, Stryker is forced to go on the run and orders Zip to eliminate Shades. Meanwhile, Luke gets a lead on Stryker's location and Mariah offers him what he needs to clear his name.

Hell breaks in loose in Harlem after Mariah goes to prison, and Luke attempts to broker a peace with the warring crime families.
