The head of the Tendo Dojo, Soun Tendo is ecstatic about the news that Ranma and his father, who have been training in the art of Kung Fu is returning to fulfill his promise to wed one of his daughters.

Ranma transfers to Furinkan High School where Akane also attends. Much to Ranma's surprise, a group of athletes aggressively greet Akane at the school gate.

Tatewaki Kuno, Captain of the school's Kendo club, who is also in love with Akane challenges Ranma to a duel after he discovers that Ranma is Akane's fiancee.,

Kuno has fallen in love with "The Pigtailed Girl" unaware of who the girl actually is. Kuno then entrusts Ranma to deliver a gift to the girl.

After a big fight where Ranma is beaten up badly by Akane, Akane takes  him to Dr. Tofu's clinic.

Kasumi stops by while Dr. Tofu is tending Ranma's injuries.

Ranma desperately attempts to recover Akane's lost memory. He even turns to Shampoo who promises to help... at a price.

Who would sell his only son for a bowl of rice, a fish and some pickles? Genma Saotome, that's who! And now, the wealthy resturant owner has come to collect, demanding Ranma marry his daughter unless Akane can beat her in the ancient art of Martial Arts Takeout Delivery...

When Ranma opens a package from Shampoo, his major weakness is revealed - he's terrified of cats, something Sasuke, Kuno's loyal ninja servant, intends to exploit to the fullest.

A strange old woman seeks out Ranma, testing his skills while calling him 'future son-in-law'.

Having been made hyper-sensitive to heat by Cologne, Ranma is trapped in his girl form until he promisees to marry Shampoo. Refusing to give up, Ranma takes a job at her diner, hoping for a chance to grab the 'Phoenix Pill' that's supposed to cure him.

Dr. Tofu is able to cure Ranma, but as Cologne is quick to ask - How long will it last? In any case, his mind soon gets other things to think about, as Mousse, a Chinese master of hidden weapons, arrives, challenging him for the right to Shampoo's hand.

Taking a break at a skiing resort, Ranma finds himself entering a Martial Arts ski race where the prize is a date with Shampoo - and the Phoenix Pill!

Figure skating champion Azusa Shiratori decides P-Chan is now her 'Charlotte', and challenges Akane and Ranma to a match against herself and her partner for the ownership of the pig. But can Ranma learn to skate in time?

The kiss makes Ranma go ballistic, charging at Mikado like a madman. Ranma barely wins, but Mikado is certain he'll get his revenge in the big Martial Arts Figure Skating match.

The match is on, but can Ranma and Akane survive the Golden Pair's deadly 'Couple Cleaver'? And what's Ryoga up to?

Tired of getting beaten by Ranma, Ryoga takes up Cologne's offer to train him. They set off to the mountains, only to find Genma, Ranma and Akane already there, also training.

Cologne is teaching Ryoga the fearsome Breaking Point technique, making him capable of shattering giant boulders with a single touch. With it, he's sure he can beat Ranma... If the training doesn't kill him first.

The Tendo Dojo receives a challenge from the Dojo Destroyer, and Soun charges Akane and Ranma with task of defending its honor. Ranma however, gets other things on his mind, when Shampoo promises to give him a cure for the curse if he'll only go on a date with her...

Mousse returns, trying to kidnap Akane, but ends up mistakenly grabbing her stuffed toy pig instead. Still, Akane wants her pig back, so Ranma goes along with the instructions to meet up with the kidnapper at the circus.

Having managed to grab the right person this time, Mousse sets up a new show - girl turns into duck (courtesy of a little cursed water from the spring of drowned duck).

Soun and Genma are terrified when their old teacher, master Happosai, shows up. The founder of the Anything Goes school of martial arts, his fighting skills are only surpassed by his lust for women's underwear...

Ranma is determined to infiltrate the Furinkan High girl's locker room when he gets a map from Ryoga that shows there's a old spring beneath it that can cure his curse. It proves harder than Ranma thought though, since the girls are on high alert due to the recent raids by Happosai.

Ranma's found the first of the three magic urns needed to summon the spring. And where's the next one's hidden? Deep in the bowels of the Kuno estate, full of traps, tricks and hot and cold water...

Happosai has claimed one of the urns to store his 'collection', but Ranma manages to steal it back. Of course, the master takes this as a personal insult, and starts causing considerable trouble for Ranma and the others as they travel up the mountains to find the place that will activate the urns.

It's cookie baking time in the home ed. class, and Akane and Kodachi both want Ranma to taste. Not taking no for an answer, the Black Rose falls back on blackmail, causing Akane to become even more determined to get Ranma to eat hers.

When Ranma tries to force Happosai to stop the underwear stealing, the old master gets mad and starts terrorizing the inhabitants of the Tendo Dojo, demanding an apology.

Furinkan High is entering a theater contest with a performance of 'Romeo and Juliet'. Akane is chosen as Juliet, but Kuno and Happosai both want to be Romeo, and so does Ranma when he hears the first price winners will get to see China.

The water heater is broken, so Ranma and co are off to the public bathhouse for a bath. Naturally, Happosai wants to come, planning to pay a little visit to the women's side...

Akane is shocked when she witnesses Genma getting attacked by a stranger referring to him as father, wanting revenge for being abandoned. Who is this Ukyo?

Ukyo tries to set Akane and Ryoga up on a date, hoping to get Ranma for herself. Ranma, however, intends to do his best to ruin it...

Caring and gentle as ever, Shampoo brings Ranma a lunch with a little 'extra spices', causing Ranma to get an irresistible urge to hug anyone who sneezes.

Furious at being prevented from accompanying Akane to the hot-springs, Happosai decides to recover the scroll containing his most deadly attack - The Happofire Burst - to teach them all a lesson. Ranma is however determined to find it first, and it's a battle of wits as they both try to infiltrate the scroll's resting place - an all girls hot-spring...

Ranma receives a challenge from one Tsubasa Kurenai, a strange girl determined to win back her beloved Ukyo.

When an angry Akane accidentally causes Ranma to hit his head, the cursed boy's mind undergoes a radical transformation to match his body, leaving the formerly brash and cocky warrior a simpering, dainty flower of womanhood. Can Akane bring her fiance back to his senses?

Happosai has been running amuck worse than usual, prompting Ranma and Akane to plot to take him down. Meanwhile, Soun and Genma return from training under a mysterious Chinese Ninjitsu Master, claiming to now have the skills to defeat their evil master.

Caught up in a squabble between the Kuno siblings, Sasuke finds himself exiled from the Kuno Estate and taken in by the Tendo Dojo.

A magic mirror sends Ranma and co a few centuries back in time to a small Chinese village, where a young girl named Cologne is torn between love and disgust for the 18 year old underwear stealing 'adventurer' running around calling himself Happy.

When finances run tight at the Tendo Dojo, Kodachi sees a golden opportunity to earn Ranma's favor.

A fortune telling classmate of Akane predicts that Happosai hasn't get long to live, and that Ranma and Akane will soon be married. When the old master starts showing signs of weakness, the unwilling fiancees better hope they find a cure - fast.

Two amazon warriors from Shampoo's tribe arrive and are surprised Ranma has not yet fallen at her hands. Therefore, they decide to do the job themselves, using their fearsome technique of "Dance of the great fire dragon".

Happosai separates Ranma into his girl and boy halves with a magical incense. The girl-type ends up with all of Ranma's negative traits, causing it to become a vicious being that wants to enslave the boy-type.

The infamous martial artist Copycat Ken is on the loose.  He's able to not only copy the moves of other martial artists, but also their appearance and strength.  This leads to confusion and accusations by all.

Ryoga, the eternally lost boy, gets soap that can cure his Jusenkyo curse, and plans to ask Akane to go out with him.  However, the soap belongs to Shampoo, who wants it back, along with Ranma.

The prize of a giant obstacle course race is a trip to China.  Ranma intends to win this race, however so do the rest of his family and "friends".

Ukyo is tired of being treated by Ranma as "One of the guys".  She decides to change up her clothing and present more feminine.  However, a commotion is caused by this; not only among the boys in school, but also Ranma's other suitors, who don't care for the competition.

Ranma and Genma steal Happosai's magic mirror, allowing them to travel back in time.  They arrive back at Jusenkyo just in time to see their prior visit, which would allow them to stop their curses from ever happening.

The Principal is back to Furinkan high!  He has been studying education in America, but appears to have learned some odd lessons and seems insane.  He starts a dress code change, requiring buzz cuts for boys and bowl cuts for girls, unless the students can find a very specific coconut that allows them to "get out of rules free".

When Tatewaki Kuno accepts the Principal's offer to become his moral-enforcement officer, he turns to the one teacher who can possibly make him good enough to beat Ranma Saotome; the dread Happosai!

When Ranma's continued defiance of his perverse reign becomes more than the malevolent Happosai can stand, he punishes his reluctant pupil... by stealing away all his strength!

Down but not out yet, Ranma makes plans to defeat Happosai and recover the chart he needs to undo the Strength-Sapping Moxibustion.

Now armed with a new super technique, Ranma can finally try to defeat the evil Happosai and regain the strength stolen from him by the perverted grandmaster's Strength-Sapping Moxibustion.

Chaos erupts amongst the would-be brides of Ranma Saotome when it appears that Ranma's long-lost mother has finally found him once more.

In his eternal quest to harass the students of Furinkan High School, the Principal hires a new homeroom teacher for Ranma's class; the bombastically optimistic and naively gung-ho Higuma Torajiro.

The Tendo Dojo gains a new student when martial arts disciple Genji Heita decides he wants to learn Anything Goes. Unfortunately, the bright but naive young man did so after seeing Happosai in action, meaning he wants to learn from the "great master"...

Ranma and Genma are in the mountains trying to find a Christmas tree and get separated.   When Akane joins Ranma in trying to find Genma, they find him living as a pet panda in luxury, having been adopted by a wealthy woman.

Ryoga decides to try to enroll at Furinkan High, though first he has to pass the placement test. Akane agrees to tutor him, but with all the commotion that happens in the Tendo Dojo on a regular basis, can he manage to keep his mind on his studies?

Happosai falls head over heels in love with a pre-school teacher, but is he willing to give up the underwear stealing for her sake?

Sasuke's fortunetelling friend Gendo makes a prediction that leads Tatewaki to believe that Nabiki is the girl he is destined to spend his life with. Still torn over having to abandon Akane and "the pig-tailed girl", Kuno starts to court Nabiki, who naturally welcomes the opportunity to milk him for everything he's worth.

After sharing his food with an old hermit, the man repays Ryoga by making him the strongest man in the world. But is it worth the price?

Terrified that Akane has figured out that he's really P-Chan, Ryoga tries to leave the town forever. Ranma continues to try to figure out a way to beat Ryoga, while Akane tries to force him to tell her what he knows about the mark shared by Ryoga and P-Chan.

Kasumi seems unusually cheerful after a chance encounter with a stranger, leading Nabiki to speculate that she's found herself a new boyfriend.

Kuno's got a magic sword capable of granting three wishes, and Ranma smells a cure for his curse. The "upperclassman" has already used two of them... How far is Ranma willing to go to get the third?

Ranma suddenly falls head over heels for Shampoo when she ties him to her with the magical Red Thread of Fate. Just a few more hours and the effect will be permanent, and Akane doesn't care one bit... does she?

After betting it all on a final fight with Ranma, Mousse loses and is forced to give up on Shampoo and go home to China. But before he leaves, he's determined to make Shampoo happy by forcing Ranma to give up his other suitors.

Because of a gambling debt Ranma made ten years ago in a game of Old Maid, the gambling king occupies the Tendo dojo. But Ranma, who, like the gambling king, is a bad gambler himself, manages to win back the dojo through the same game by the act of cheating.

Azusa Shiratori takes home a tanuki statue Kuno is trapped in and adopts him, believing he is the tanuki and renaming him Marianne. When Azusa suspects Akane is trying to take Kuno away, another martial arts ice-skating battle ensues: Azusa versus Ranma and Akane.

Akane Tendo cooks up a surprise meal for the Saotomes' anniversary at their household. However, Ranma wrecks the meal, and Akane was so mad, she began to call him a jerk, and run away. The rest of the gang (sans Kasumi) starts looking for her for the rest of the night. But when they found her, she was actually up on the roof.

As Ling-Ling and Lung-Lung are bound by their honor to remain single until Shampoo marries, but are not happy about this, they have a plan. They return to Japan even deadlier, and are intent on eliminating all of Ranma's other fiancés so that he can marry Shampoo.

Pigtails are being cut off by small, strange people.  Ranma is hiding something related a Dragon Whisker?  What is happening?

With the secret of his Dragon's Whisker pigtail tie revealed, Ranma must fight against not only the Niku-men, but also Genma and Happosai.

hen Ryoga rescues the ghost cat Maomolin, the feline phantom decides to repay Ryoga's kindness... by possessing Ryoga and proposing to Akane on Ryoga's behalf.

After a petty argument with Soun, Genma Saotome decides to leave the Tendo Dojo behind, taking his son with him. Things complicate further after Kuno moves into the dojo and Ranma decides to shack up with Kodachi.

Sentaro, a practitioner of Martial Arts Tea Ceremony is looking for a bride, and decides that girl-type Ranma should be her.  But to prove her suitability, she has to defeat his grandmother.  And as always, Ranma cannot decline a challenge.

A martial arts gang is about, using old-fashioned toys as weapons.  A young girl from the gang challenges Akane for the sign belonging to the Tendo Dojo, and wins!  Can it be won back?

A trip to Jusenkyo is on the line!  Actually, its any resort as a hot springs has a big obstacle race with the prize being a trip to another resort of the contestant's choice.  The whole cursed gang enters, however unbeknownst to them, but knownst to us the resort is trying to stop anyone from winning, as they cannot afford to pay for the prize.

A shocking development occurs in Furinkan High School; could it be that the Principal is actually Kuno's long-lost father

Sentaro Daimonji begs for Ranma and Akane's help after his grandmother, the matriarch, announces her intention to take a stand.

A reluctant Ranma and Akane are recruited by Kodachi to help defend against a trio of wandering male Martial Arts Rhythmic Gymnasts who seek to claim three magical treasures that will allow them to make the sport a man's only sport.

The gang all go to a hot-springs resort after being invited.  But once they arrive, they discover its run-down, and possibly haunted!

A strange old man with a small army of pet frogs comes to town.Known as the frog hermit, a mysterious stranger with the ability to turn people into frogs, he sets his sight on Ranma.

When a crepes cook steals all her business, Ukyo Kuonji starts to doubt her prowess as an okonomiyaki chef. Under the guidance of a monk from the Temple of the Satisfied Stomach, she begins an intense training program, leaving Ranma and Akane to mind the store.

When Akane unknowingly attaches a magical bandaid to Ranma's face, she turns him into a suave, flirtatious playboy who starts hitting on every woman he looks at!

A master of the mysterious martial arts of Battle Shogi seeks out Genma, demanding a rematch for the defeat that cost him the respect of his wife. When Genma cunningly wins again, the man decides to turn the entire lawn into a gigantic shogi board.

Dissatisfied with Sasuke's performance as protector of the household, Tatewaki Kuno gives him a final chance to prove himself, as to arrange a date with Ranma in female form.

A French nobleman named Picolet Chardin comes to Soun and Genma to collect on an old debt, demanding 1 of their daughters as a bride. Having been beaten by him at battle dining martial arts previously, Ranma volunteers, hoping for a chance to get even.

With the wedding date fast approaching, Ranma's only hope is to master the fearsome Parlay du Foie Gras & beat Picolet at battle dining martial arts.

Akane has been chosen as class representative in the upcoming swim meet, but many in her class are clueless of her inability to swim. So Principal Kuno gives his assistance using unorthodox methods.

While out on one of his journeys, Ryoga gets taken in by a farmer & his granddaughter Anna, convinced of him being the legendary hero named Joe, who has come to save them from the crooks that have been terrorizing the area.

Something strange is in the air, as each member of the Tendo household falls asleep one by one & enter a twisted dream world controlled by Happosai.

Furious at both Ranma and Nabiki Tendo, Akane tells them to go marry each other. Much to her surprise, Nabiki decides to take her younger sister up on the offer.

In a classic whodunit style, everyone in the Tendo household tries to resolve who stole the takoyaki that Kasumi had just bought.

Ranma buys a magical incense supposed to let him increase his skills by training against his own shadow. At first it works great, but then it becomes apparent that the shadow has a mind of its own.

Kodachi learns that her long-lost father has returned and is living as the principal of Furinkan High School, leading to a heartfelt reunion. Which Tatewaki is less than happy about.

An occult otaku, the nerdy yet sinister Gosunkugi, arrives as a transferee to Furinkan High School, where he develops a crush on Akane and a vendetta against Ranma.

Insulted when a travelling master of Martial Arts Calligraphy declares him too unskilled to fight, Ranma determines to face him in battle.

Spurred by rumors, Ranma and Akane investigate the mystery of the lost secondary school store of Furinkan High.

Finally Ranma, Ryoga and Mousse have a chance to return to their original selves. But only one Nannichuan powder is real, the other can turn them into something unknown...

When Ranma and Genma get into a fight over sweets, the angry Genma decides to denounce Ranma as his heir and take Ryoga Hibiki under his wing instead!

Things turn chaotic at an amusement park when Dr. Tofu accidentally invites the Tendo and Saotome families to come and play.

A masked man sporting a black pigtail hairstyle is stalking female high school students at nighttime. Ranma becomes the prime suspect of the investigation. It is later revealed that Gosunkugi is responsible for these incidents.

When Kuno washes ashore at a beach with amnesia and a killer new technique, Ranma determines to find out what happened to him.

Akane is kidnapped by a youth known as Pantyhose Taro, in which he is capable of turning into a chimera. It is explained how Happosai is to blame for his curse.

Ranma, Ryoga, Shampoo, and Mousse arrives at the clifftop hideout to battle Taro in order to rescue Akane. This proves to be difficult as everyone is repeatedly splashed with water.

Sentaro Daimonji shows up fearing for his life, wanting Ranma and Akane to help rescue his kidnapped matriarchal grandmother. It is reviewed that the martial arts tea ceremony was practiced by two opposing schools. The three enter the rivaled school to find the Daimonji matriarch. Sentaro meets Satsuki Miyakoji, successor of the rivaled school, and becomes betrothed to her, joining the two schools together.

Ranma tells Akane to head back home during their Christmas shopping at the mall. Worried about him, she begins searching for him around town, asking where he has been. When Akane finally finds Ranma, she is overjoyed to learn that he had been shopping for her wishlist.

A mysterious snow girl holding a flute is brought back to the Tendo dojo in hospitality, after Ryoga reports about Yeti sightings. Ranma, and later Ryoga, locates the dwelling of the Yeti, going in combat against it. It is realized that the Yeti is the pet of snow girl, as she plays the flute to calm it down.

Distracted by Ranma scuffling with Gosunkugi, Akane gets a bone fracture during gym class and has to spend the next few days in Dr. Tofu's clinic. Everyone comes to visit her, with the exception of Ranma, inasmuch as being indecisive of what to say to her.

While fighting with his father over takoyaki, Ranma accidentally sets free three unspeakably evil spirits, one of which is a scribbled panda come to life that wants a date with him.

After a training accident, Genma finds himself in a feudal-esque land where he's worshiped as a deity. What's really strange is that the inhabitants all look very familiar.

Ranma, Genma, and Soun Tendo are hired to rid a seaside resort of the nasty marauding octopus pot that has been terrorizing the guests. Unfortunately for them, it turns out to be Happosai in a pot.

Ukyo Kuonji samples a taste of her secret sauce after a decade of fermentation, however she collapses in disgust. She is taken to the Tendo dojo for a recovery period. Due to Ranma being exceedingly affable to his childhood friend, Akane grows increasingly jealous, suspecting an ulterior motive.

Nabiki Tendo schemes the scenario that Ranma and Akane are already married. However, Ukyo, unwilling to indulge in this farce, plans to force this couple to keep up the charade around the clock.

When Akane reads aloud the words of an old notebook found in Toramasa's store, the ghost of a teenage girl named Kogane Musashi appears hauntingly reciting lyrics, hoping to find what she has lost.

Gosunkugi sees a chance for a date with Akane when he obtains a set of magic paper dolls, capable of forcing someone to obey whatever command is written on them when they're stuck to the individual's back.

Ryoga accidentally sends a telepathic boy to visit the Tendo Dojo, where he proceeds to make himself a nuisance.

Happosai's plan to teach Ranma respect has backfired, during the case when two magic tablets are consumed, resulting in Happosai being permanently clung onto Ranma. The effects of the tablets causes Ranma to serve Happosai forthrightly. Still and all, the only way the two can be separated if it Ranma defeats Happosai in battle.

Principal Kuno elects Tatewaki Kuno to be the substitute principal as a test of leadership while he is away on vacation. Kuno virtuously enforces strict laws on school grounds, issuing penalties to those who disobey these laws.

Ranma Saotome prepares to conquer the Ogre Festival of the Dark, a tournament resembling that of kick the can, in which Happosai personally trains him for this special event. The anything-goes martial arts career is on the line as Ranma does his best not to forfeit. However, he is unaware what will be revealed if he were to succeed.

When the Jusenkyo Guide arrives in Nerima looking for a once-in-a-thousand-years Japanese outlet of Jusenkyo, the cursed residents of the ward see the chance to be rid of their Jusenkyo curses at last.

When Happosai accidentally gets split into six versions of himself, it brings chaos to the city.

Ryoga returns to Nerima for yet another duel. This time, he has a powerful new technique in his arsenal, the dreaded Shishi Hokodan, a move so strong he actually manages to beat Ranma with it! Can Ranma hope to make a comeback?

Things heat up in Nerima as Ryoga struggles to unlock the secret of the ultimate form of the Shishi Hokodan and Ranma struggles to find some way of making the technique his own.

Shampoo goes to a temple to deliver food, but is reluctant to see the ghost cat there. She is spellbound by the ghost cat to be trapped in the temple. She can be released only if Ranma will kiss her before midnight. However, if he fails to do so, Shampoo will be forced into wedlock, spending an eternity as a cat.

Ranma experiences a recurring nightmare about encountering an old man named Harumaki in a field of blooming cherry blossoms, who has induced an out-of-body experience to search for his love interest Gyoko, to which Ranma in female form takes quite a resemblance. Ranma soon gets roped into dating Harumaki, in honor of his last dying wish before shuffling off this mortal coil.

When a visit to a wilderness temple famed for its mushroom dishes ends up with Ranma and Akane eating Mushrooms of Love, Ryoga and Kuno must struggle to get the antidote to them before the effects become permanent - even as Mousse tries to ensure they succumb to its effects.

Aghast when he realises Ranma has surpassed him in the martial arts, Genma desperately develops a new move to let him defeat his son once more.

A vat of forbidden, blue wine is having a strange effect on Picolet Chardin, the masterful monsieur of martial-arts dining, having characteristics of a vampire. Fearing for her charge, Madame St. Paul pleads for assistance, but later regrets in doing so.

Tanabata, a Japanese star festival held on the seventh day of the seventh month, celebrates the celestial reunion of the Princess and the Cowherd. When the two descend from the sky, their story seems vaguely familiar to both a Chinese folklore story, as well as Ranma and Akane's own "special" relationship.

When Akane comes into possession of magical sakura-mochi that can supposedly predict if the cooker and the eater are destined to fall in love, she becomes determined to feed them to Ranma and see if they will truly marry. Ranma is less than eager to comply.

After the failure of the "Happo Daikarin" or "Happo Fire Burst" technique of explosions due to the heavy downpour, Happosai invents the "Happo Daikabin" or "Happo Mold-Burst" technique, which releases clouds of paralytic mold. Ranma later trains with Shampoo and Cologne on the mountains, attempting to learn ways of dealing with the deadly attack.

When the Kuno siblings get into a squabble over destroyed pictures of each other's love interests, it ignites a sibling battle that engulfs the school.

Sentaro Daimonji returns in need of Ranma and Akane's aid. It is explained that an opponent is planning to steal the "Golden Teapot of Enishi", that of which the rival schools have fought over for generations. This procedure was to test the unity of the orthodox and unorthodox schools of martial arts tea ceremony.

When Hikaru Gosunkugi meets Kogane Musashi for the first time, he instantly falls in love with her, later shamefully learning that she is a ghost. Furthermore, Kogane is forced to return to the underworld by midnight, leaving Gosunkugi heartbroken.

When tempers flare at the beach over which of Ranma's would-be lady-loves should get to feed him, they decide to use a beachside beauty contest to determine the winner.

Ranma is challenged by Mariko Konjo, the captain of the Seisyun High School cheerleading squad, to a martial arts cheerleading competition, in which Kuno is collateral.

Ranma and Mariko are to compete in martial arts cheerleading during the kendo club tournament, all to win the affection of Kuno.

Kuno and Kodachi come across the ancient tsuzumi (drum) and biwa (lute), respectively, both having devastating destructive power when played. Kuno showcases the weaponry of his drum, destroying much of the school and putting Principal Kuno in depression. Kodachi later offers Principal Kuno her biwa, allowing him to avenge his shattered ukulele.

Ryoga encounters Shirokuro, a black and white runaway ninja dog, who later takes a love letter Ryoga had written out of his backpack and delivers it to Akane.

Ranma and Akane discover a seahorse in the ground on their way back home, in which Ranma decides to use it as a class project. However, it is later discovered that the seahorse is actually a dragon.

Nodoka Saotome, Ranma's mother and Genma's wife, is planning to visit the Tendo household. It is revealed that Nodoka gave custody of Ranma to Genma. Genma promised her that he will raise Ranma to be a master of anything-goes martial arts. However, if he fails to do so, he and Ranma are to perform Seppuku, a form of Japanese ritual suicide by disembowelment. Ranma and Genma must stay in their cursed forms and hide their true identities from Nodoka.

Nodoka is planning to leave the Tendo household the following morning. Akane schedules an appointment between Ranma and Nodoka to meet in the nearby park, and later in a restaurant. However, Genma intervenes and tries to prevent them from seeing each other.
