Pennyworth: The Origin of Batman's Butler

Back from service, Alfred Pennyworth tries to make a go of it as a security consultant and ends up working as a doorman at a nightclub. However, things change for him when he bumps into an American, Thomas Wayne.

After turning down a job with Thomas Wayne, Alfred takes work closer to home when a bartender asks him to sort out the nephew of a major crime boss.

Photojournalist Martha Kane hires Alfred to work as a driver for her as she picks up a man from a country police station. Harwood gets a close shave, and Wallace and Dean play some cards.

Martha hires Alfred to help her find the name of the Raven Society's new leader. Esme bonds with Mr. Pennyworth, and Bet grows bored.

Alfred is shell-shocked after a loved one's death, and John helps bring him out of it. Wallace gets a job, and the League tries to make a truce with the Society.

Thomas asks Martha to watch Patricia while he makes a killing elsewhere, and the two women attend a party. John directs Alfred to a witch who can help him find Esme's killer.

Thomas and Martha go to see Crowley and get Patricia back, and Crowley shows Thomas the Devil. Alfred gets a lead on Curzon, and Harwood pays Frances a visit.

Lord Harwood prepares for his return to public attention. Alfred visits Aziz and convinces the inspector to help him find Curzon, and gains an unsuspected ally in his hunt for the killer.

Alfred is sent to Newgate, and the price of his release is an assassination. The League sends Thomas and Martha to negotiate for them with Harwood, and Mary tells Alfred about Arthur's condition.

After having the Sykes sisters abduct the Queen, Harwood makes his move to take over England. Alfred joins forces with Thomas and Martha to stop the Raven Society, but Harwood has one card left to play.

Alfred Pennyworth tries to profit off a war-torn London that threatens to be overrun by the fascist Raven Union.

Alfred's plans for his departure to America are put on hold when someone close to him is put in danger. Thomas enlists the help of an old foe, Aleister Crowley.

While Crowley enacts his plan with unintended results, Alfred, Bazza and Daveboy set out to find out who had the nerve to steal from them.

Still haunted by tragedy, Alfred agrees to join Gully's team on an upcoming job. Meanwhile, pressure begins to take its toll on Harwood and direct him toward Project Stormcloud.

While Alfred and Daveboy run one last job for Gully in order to buy tickets to America, tensions ratchet up at Raven Union HQ between Harwood and his lieutenants.

While Alfred is enlisted to help extract Lucius Fox from Raven headquarters, Prime Minister Aziz sets in motion a plan that pits Aleister Crowley against John Ripper.

While Alfred prepares to depart England for good, Bet and Peggy Sykes set out to rescue their old friend Lord Harwood from imminent danger.

While Salt sits down with the League to discuss peace, Alfred confronts Gully to do the same.  And Martha finally comes clean to Thomas about her dilemma.

With less than 48 hours, Alfred, Thomas & Martha concoct a plan to infiltrate Raven headquarters with Daveboy and Lucius to steal Project Stormcloud.

Salt is hell bent on releasing Project Stormcloud upon London… unless Alfred and his mates can stop it.

Pennyworth seeks help from Bet, who is busy chasing a connection that might lead her to John Salt; while Alfie and Daveboy make a startling discovery at the ashram, Thomas and Martha get a surprise visit from Patrick.

While grappling with the true nature of Martha's work, Thomas agrees to help his father - and seeks Alfie's assistance. Meanwhile, after being questioned by Aziz, Pennyworth escalates his search for answers at the ashram.

While Pennyworth deals with an old friend, Daveboy grapples with his conscience in a very public way. As tensions run high in the Wayne household, Thomas plots with Patrick, and Martha receives a proposition... and warning.

After Thomas is thrown behind bars, Patrick offers Alfie and a hesitant Daveboy a hefty sum to break his son out of jail.

As Martha and Thomas attempt to heal and rebuild, an unexpected visit from Patricia threatens to derail their progress. Meanwhile, Alfie is hired to keep an eye on Zahra Khin, the leader of a separatist group.

While Alfie forces his way into Khin's rescue mission, Bet squares off against John Salt, and Thomas finds himself back in Gotham.

To set things right, Alfie and Daveboy search for a dangerous secret prison in the Hebrides, which generates its power by triggering its inhabitants' most traumatic memories.

After a power station attack, Alfie, Daveboy, and Martha attempt to help Gully Troy restore public opinion of PWEs. Meanwhile, Dr. Glubb tries to stop Foulkes' reckless use of Lullaby.

Thomas' hesitant return home is further complicated by Samantha's kidnapping. Sally involves Daveboy in the aftermath of Foulkes' dinner party. An increasingly concerned Lucius seeks to free the PWEs.

As the city further descends into a lullaby-induced chaos, Alfie and Martha break into L7 to save Lucius--and the rest of the world.
