Andres Vargas is a police inspector who dies chasing the "Midnight Butcher", a serial killer who has murdered five women. Vargas will have the opportunity to come back to live, but five years later and in Manuel Marquez's body, another police officer. In his resolution to apprehend the "Midnight Butcher", Vargas, now Marquez, will have Susana as a partner, a young policewoman. Between them there is a very special relation and together they will deal with this murderer who starts killing again five years later.

Laura wants to meet her daughter's new partner, so she invites her for dinner, and Márquez meets the whole family again.

Elena orders Márquez to be killed to get the capsule. Laura discovers that her mother is alive and Adri receives a visit from someone from the Catwalk.
