Meet dance instructor Abby Lee Miller, the Dance Moms and their daughters as the competition season begins and they travel from Pittsburgh to Phoenix. The Dance Moms will push their young daughters to great lengths to get them to Nationals and Abby reveals big news to her young dance girls. They'll be working all year to get to the big National competition. If they want to win, they've got to work harder than ever. Abby's confident she can get them there, but with a group of dance moms living vicariously through their daughters, this may be more than she can handle, especially when Abby has her first conflict with two of the moms when they cross the line and risk losing it all.

The Dance Moms allow their daughters to wear outfits in a competition that are revealing and the scandal threatens to bring down the house. Abby's attempt to turn up the competition heat blows the audience away with what some may call an inappropriate dance number. She is hoping that this will give them their next big win. But it could backfire.

The Dance Moms need to win this week's competition to stay in the game, but chaos ensues when Mom Kelly's daughter wants to drop out of dance as she's hurt her hip and she just wants to be a cheerleader. Kelly works hard to convince her daughter to stay in dance, pushing her so far that she risks permanent injuries.

Abby gives each girl one solo dance for the next competition. However, she gives two solos to her star dancer, Maddie, clearly providing her with an advantage over the others. Christi has seen this too many times and lashes out at Abby with uncontrolled fury.

The Abby Lee Dance Studio is on edge after learning a big Broadway casting director will attend their annual Dance Showcase, an exhibition in which she shows off her accomplished dancers. Abby's desire to push the girls to the max could have catastrophic effects if they don't show their best.

On their way to a big competition, Christi finds out her grandmother has just been admitted to a hospital. She now must choose what's more important to her--go to the hospital to sit by her grandmother's side or go to the dance competition.

Abby's continuous typecasting of little Nia in ethnic stereotype roles sends her mother Holly over the edge. For the first time, Holly takes off the gloves and the fighter in her comes out.

Abby plays cupid with Brooke and her duet partner, hoping their off-stage romance will make on-stage drama.

In Hollywood Kelly decides to secretly hire choreographers to give Brooke and Paige an edge. To everyone's shock, Cathy arrives with her Candy Apple dancers to go head to head against Abby's dancers.

After competing all season, it all boils down to this--the National Title Competition. Abby's dancers have been on a losing streak and this is their last chance to prove they can win. Meanwhile, Melissa leaves the competition early to go on vacation. Her ex-husband, Kurt, steps in as "Dance Dad, sending Melissa into a panic.

The departure of Cathy and Vivi-Anne creates an opportunity for Abby to change the make up of her dance group with a big open audition. Holly's busy career schedule forces her to miss Nia's rehearsals and competitions, which Abby sees as a lack of Dance Mom dedication. Abby has to come to terms with Chloe's growing success.

Brooke's return from cheerleading to ALDC leaves no room for Peyton, so Dance Mom Leslie takes her to audition for the Candy Apples. Abby gives Kendall her ALDC jacket and announces that she is officially off probation. Now that Kendall is a permanent member of the team, Dance Mom Jill takes off her gloves.

It's "solo week" and Abby is fed up with the moms complaining about costumes so she makes them design new costumes for their kids...but Jill has a closet full of costumes that Abby has never seen before. Cathy holds a big open audition to supplement her Candy Apples.

The Dance Moms go ballistic when Abby choreographs a flashy private eye number complete with guns. After Christi and Kelly catch Jill chatting up a former Dance Mom, they're determined to expose her as a studio hopper.  Maddie finds herself on the bottom of the pyramid for the very first time and is determined to dance her way back on top.

After weeks of battling with Abby's Dance Moms, Jill studio hops to Cathy's Candy Apples. Christi and Kelly's persistent meddling in Melissa's private life sends the soon-to-be bride over the edge. Abby choreographs a gritty group number to bring awareness of the plight of the homeless. Principal Holly takes a leave of absence to dedicate herself to Nia's dance career.

The entire Abby Lee Dance Company is on edge when they learn a scout from the prestigious Joffrey Ballet in New York will be attending the competition. Abby pits the girls against each other by creating two trios...who will go head-to-head.

The dance season comes to a head when Abby's dancers compete in the Regionals and for a coveted scholarship to the Joffrey Ballet School in New York. Abby has the worst day of her life when one of her top dancers freezes and Cathy and her Candy Apples show up at the competition. The new competition season is underway, but Abby is extremely disappointed in the girls because they blew off dance class during the break. So, Abby holds an open audition to bring new blood to the team hoping to replace Brooke and Paige and teach the girls a lesson. To everyone s dismay, Abby welcomes new dancer Ally and new mom Shelly to the group. The whole team misses Kelly, Brooke and Paige, but they soldier on to compete at In10sity Dance in Denver. Abby also pits Chloe and Maddie head-to-head, putting a lot of pressure on Chloe who just beat Maddie out of a national title.

The Dance Moms stage a silent protest and walk out on Abby, prompting Abby to quickly assemble a totally new dance team for this weekend s competition. The Dance Moms try to make it out on their own and book a performance for their kids.  Meanwhile, a Dance Mom from Abby s past vows to have revenge.

The real moms are back and the replacements are out, with the exception of one, Sophia Luccia. How will the moms react to Abby's newest superstar Sophia aka "the new Maddie"? And can the moms deal with Abby's wrath from being on strike for two weeks?

After Melissa's fall from grace, Jill tries hard to be Abby's new favorite but quickly learns that's no easy task, especially since Abby's mood is at an ultimate low after she hears that Cathy is back to compete after weeks of hiding.

Abby indefinitely suspends Christi and Chloe, which keeps Chloe from competing against Cathy's new all-boy team "The Apple Cores."  Nia and Holly must deal with a painful medical condition from their past. In the meantime, Abby's favorite new dancer Sophia returns.

Christi and Chloe's return to the studio after a one-week suspension is spoiled and tension between Christi and Kelly boils over. With Christi and Kelly bickering, Melissa tries to take advantage of the situation. Meanwhile, Nia is determined to perform the duet that Abby pulled the previous week.

Abby's precious pet Broadway Baby has passed away and Abby leaves the ALDC team to fend for themselves. To make matters worse, this week the team heads to St. Louis where they go up against the infamous Kaya Wiley and she's not going down without a fight!

Before they leave for the competition, the moms take Abby speed dating in the hopes that if she found a man, she would be nicer to the girls. Jill's competitive side rears its ugly head when she tries to get Kendall private lessons so she can outshine Nia in their duet.

The team hits the Big Apple not only for a competition, but also for a very special surprise. Abby has been invited to co-host "The View" where the girls will perform their winning dance "The Last Text," however, Abby wrestles with the decision to replace injured Mackenzie with newcomer Asia. Of course, Cathy and her Candy Apples are also in the city, where they are holding open auditions to add another member to their winning team.

All the dances this week are in tribute to Abby's ailing mother and emotions are high.

In Dance Moms 100th episode, Abby finally presents her new junior elite competition team during pyramid leaving the original team and moms in shock. With her new team in place, original dancers are pitted against new ones.

After a season full of fights, losses, and heartbreak, Abby and the moms gather to discuss the most memorable moments of the past year. Abby discusses the pain of losing her mother, while Kelly's expulsion from the team is still fresh in Christi's mind. Soon, old wounds are re-opened and everyone is "seeing red."

Their moms have had the floor to air their feuds, frustrations and alliances; now, for the first time ever, it's the girls' turn to dish the dirt. With guest appearances from Asia Ray and Vivi, the dancers speak their mind on everything from Abby to their former teammates, the moms fighting, and everything in between... and there are no moms allowed!

The rivalry between Maddie and Chloe has boiled for four seasons and this episode of Dance Moms traces the very beginnings of it. Maddie and Chloe battled for first place in competitions, first position on the pyramid and ultimately, for a place in Abby's heart... But is the rivalry really between them...or between their mothers?

Abby Lee Miller opens up, dishing on her ten favorite group dances of all time. As she leads us through the countdown to number one, we'll get the inside story on how the dances came about, the drama behind the scenes, and see all new extended cuts of the all-time best Dance Moms dances.

Abby kicks off the new dance season by bringing back her winning Select Team to compete against her original Elite Team for a rematch in Wheeling, WV. With Mackenzie's pop song climbing the charts, Abby rewards her with a solo against Christy's daughter Sarah. The original Dance Moms grow furious that Abby is once again favoring her new team but it's the Select Moms who really can't stand the heat.

With the Select Team gone for the week, the Elite Team needs to end their losing streak. This will prove difficult because they are competing against the Candy Apples on their home turf and Cathy will do whatever it takes to ensure a win. Inspired from her time as a judge on Dancing with the Stars, Abby recruits former Candy Apple Gino to dance a duet with Maddie where the choreography calls for her very first kiss.

This week the ALDC heads to Shenandoah Valley, VA but with Maddie away filming a guest appearance on Ellen, Abby realizes that her #1 dancer's career is taking off and she'll need someone who can win in Maddie's absence. Abby pits Chloe, Nia and Kendall head to head to see who can step up to the plate with character driven solos. Christy's jealousy puts her daughter Sarah's place on the team in dire jeopardy.

The ALDC heads to Woodbridge, VA to face their toughest competition yet, Studio Bleu. Abby invites Select Team member Jade and new dance mom Loree to join the Elite Team for the week. Christi is in an uproar when Abby picks Chloe to compete a solo against Jade, two years her senior. Abby shocks everyone when she decides to pull the current group routine and start over from scratch, choreographing a dance about phobias.

Tensions are high when Abby swaps Chloe and Christi for the Select Team's Jade and Loree in the third head-to-head battle between the Elite and Select teams in Washington, D.C. Both teams are anxious to impress Abby when she announces that Nationals are just five weeks away. Jeanette and Ava are thrilled to compete in a solo against Maddie until it becomes obvious that the odds are stacked against them.

The ALDC heads to Michigan, where Abby has her three youngest members McKenzie, Tea and Sarah go head-to-head to see who will be competing in a solo at Nationals. When Abby finds out that Jeanette is bringing Ava to compete against them, she concocts a secret plan to try and secure the win and causes a blowout fight between the ALDC moms.

When Abby assigns Chloe and Kendall to be Maddie's understudies for the week, it prompts an idea from Holly to use a board to keep score of all the times Abby favors Maddie over the other children. As the number of tally marks increases, so does the tension between the moms and Abby. Meanwhile, Cathy and her Candy Apples are looking for their very first win against the ALDC this season and they've brought back Gino to help them get it.

It's the last competition before Nationals and it is everyone's last chance to impress Abby; especially Nia, Kendall and Select Ensemble member Sarah, who all have solos. Sarah's mom Tracey's dream of joining the Elite team is threatened when guest mom Kate and her daughter, Kayleigh, show up for the group dance.  But the real shock comes when Cathy crashes the competition and causes Abby to explode.

Abby's Annual Dance Concert is always bigger than any old recital and this year is no different, as the theme is an emotional tribute to her mother. With Nationals a few days away, Abby gives the girls 45 seconds to prove they each deserve a solo. While the ALDC is in Los Angeles to compete at Nationals, Abby makes a major announcement that will forever change the Elite Competition Team. Ex-ALDC dance mom, Jeanette, stalks the team to LA and vows revenge against Abby. Cathy schemes to ruin Abby's west coast visit by challenging the ALDC to a dance off, and everyone is shocked when Abby's moves steal the show.

Nationals are a day away, and with all of the distractions of Hollywood, the moms worry Abby has not given enough attention to the routines. With Cathy using the song that made Maddie famous, Abby considers pulling an ALDC solo to let Maddie dance. Stakes have never been higher as Abby threatens to cut the losing team and Christi and Chloe make a heart-wrenching decision.

The moms from both the Elite and Select Teams face off against Abby to hash out their grudges from this season and accuse her of blatant favoritism. Maddie takes the stage to talk about her recent success in Hollywood with the Sia video, the girls present new dances, and of course, Cathy makes an appearance to ruffle Abby's feathers.

The ALDC's fifth dance competition season is off to a rocky start when a key member disappears and cuts off all ties to the kids and moms. With one dancer M.I.A., Abby calls in an old friend to join the team. Abby's world comes crashing down when an ex-student threatens legal action and could jeopardize the ALDC's big plans for the season.

It's the big Maddie vs. Kalani showdown everyone has been waiting for! But with lawsuits pending, Abby's enemies are out to get her, including her rival Jeanette, who is out for revenge. The moms remain loyal, but Abby manages to turn even her own team members against her. Will the ALDC make it to LA or is their fractured team beyond repair?

With Maddie heading to Los Angeles early for a new exciting opportunity with Sia, the ALDC team is down another member and the moms question Abby's dedication to this week's routines since her favorite dancer is gone. Abby needs a sub for Maddie, so she calls in new dancer JoJo, whose star quality threatens both the moms and the girls.

LA is only one week away and JoJo and Jess return to fight for a spot on the ALDC and are determined not to lose again. As the team prepares for their big Hollywood adventure, Holly and Jill grow concerned that Abby's focus will only be on her favorites and Nia and Kendall will be forgotten. After hearing about Maddie's next big Los Angeles opportunity, Holly and Jill vow to take matters into their own hands.

The ALDC has finally arrived in Los Angeles and they are in for their toughest competition yet, when a top West Coast dance studio declares war. Abby sets up an audition with a casting agent for the girls but the pressure of LA is too great and Abby suffers her biggest breakdown yet, forcing the moms to question her abilities as a manager.

After a chaotic first week in Los Angeles, things do not settle down when Abby and Holly have their biggest and most shocking fight ever, causing Holly to go behind Abby's back to work with a huge star despite the consequences. Maddie prepares for another big Hollywood job, and all the girls soon are on edge when Abby announces an open call audition in Los Angeles. Holly and Nia grow especially fearful of their futures with the ALDC.

It's the ALDC's last week in LA and the Moms' patience with Abby has grown thin due to the lack of opportunities for every girl except Abby's favorite. While Maddie is away, guest starring on TV's "Austin and Ally," Abby brings in two swing dancers who not only take away her time and attention but also threaten the girls' chance at their biggest audition to date, a music video for internet sensation and pop star MattyB. Abby's job as a manager is put to the test when one of her star pupils gets offered the lead.

The ALDC's last week in Los Angeles continues with the girls juggling a competition and a music video shoot with kid rapper MattyB. But when Abby can't see eye to eye with his manager she tries to shut the shoot down, driving a wedge between the mothers who stay loyal to Abby and those who do not. To make matters worse, Abby announces she is cutting one dancer, causing the Moms to fight tooth and nail to secure their daughters' spots on the team. Amidst all the chaos, it's the girls' last chance to pull off a win against the best of the best in LA, all without Abby's favorite dancer, Maddie.

It's the ALDC's first week back in Pittsburgh and the pressure is on to win after the girls' lackluster showing in Los Angeles. There is division amongst the moms based on who stayed to film the MattyB music video and who left. In true Abby fashion, the group dance is a personal attack against the mothers. Making matters worse, Abby discovers the team is in the teen division and one older member must sit out, sparking even more controversy amongst the team.

The ALDC girls are fresh off a big win and seem to be moving forward after their rocky journey to LA. That is, until Abby's nemesis, Cathy from the Candy Apples, returns with a surprise choreographer who's sure to rattle the ALDC's confidence. Abby invites Ashlee and her daughter Brynn to come dance at the ALDC and quickly praises her as the next Maddie, which the original Moms do not appreciate.

This week the ALDC heads to Philadelphia with a risky non-lyrical routine. Nia, Maddie and Kendall are feeling the pressure with solos, and Nia is singled out with an ultimatum from Abby. Frustrated with the lack of support from Melissa and Jill and tired of being victimized by Abby, Holly makes friends with two unlikely allies, which angers and alienates the original moms.

The media is going crazy for Maddie's second music video with Sia so Abby has all of the girls doing duets in her honor. Not everyone is a fan of Maddie's latest work, especially Cathy, who has assembled a new Candy Apple team made up of dancers who have all worked with Abby and are ready to seek vengeance on the dance floor.

It's the last week before the ALDC tries to make another go of it in Los Angeles and Maddie is away again, this time dancing on Saturday Night Live. With her sister gone, Mackenzie has the chance to remind everyone she is more than just Maddie's little sister. Up against Cathy's new premium Candy Apples team, Abby decides to push the envelope with a sassy and funky routine as Cathy is still reeling from their loss the week before. Will this risky routine be enough to beat Cathy again?

The ALDC is back in LA and it's time for the team to redeem itself by focusing on what made these girls stars in the first place: winning competitions! Holly and Jill don't see eye to eye when Abby decides to manage Kendall's new singing career. The pressure is on for Nia and Kendall as they both work to become pop stars while going head-to-head with solos this week. Not forgetting the constant fits of drama from Abby last time in Los Angeles, the girls give their all in the group dance in hopes of making their teacher proud.

Determined to have a victory in their first week back in LA, the ALDC faces the Murrieta Dance Project again, the team that won with a perfect score and sent Abby in a downward spiral of negativity. Putting her best foot forward, Abby gives solos to her two strongest dancers, Maddie and Kalani. Kalani is hungry for a win and she is feeling the pressure to beat not only Maddie but MDP as well. Sparks fly between Jill and Holly when Nia is left out of a show biz opportunity which puts a strain on the team as they try to master an edgy rose garden themed contemporary routine.

It's the ALDC's last competition in LA and JoJo and Kendall have challenging solos. To add to the pressure, Nia and Kendall are both shooting their music videos this week. While Holly and Jill initially remain supportive of each other's daughters as recording artists, their competitive sides get the best of them which results in an all-out war.

With the ALDC back in Pittsburgh to wrap up loose ends before they make the full-time move to LA, Abby has scheduled the team to attend both a competition and a convention. Adding to the pressure, two of Abby's biggest enemies, Cathy and Jeanette will be at the competition and are confident they can win. Meanwhile, Holly has organized a premiere party for Nia's music video, but not everyone in the ALDC is excited about her big debut.

In their hometown of Pittsburgh, PA, the ALDC embarks on their final competition before their big official move to Los Angeles. But when only two girls show up to compete, chaos takes over and tempers flare. Cathy and Jeanette bring top notch routines to try and take the ALDC down, but without a full team, the threat from ALDC's rivals takes a backseat to the risk of disqualification.

Abby Lee Miller and the Dance Moms get together to talk about the highs and lows of this season and try to hash out any remaining bad feelings. Holly and Abby go head to head once again; Abby's nemeses, Cathy and Jeanette, stir things up; and Maddie talks about her newfound fame and upcoming events. On the verge of leaving for Australia and then Los Angeles for three months, the team reflects on all that they've learned, shared and lost during their time at the ALDC, and Abby reveals her plans for world domination.

The ALDC is headed to Australia to perform at the ASTRA Awards, but when Abby loses her passport, she leaves the entire team stranded in Sydney without her. Meanwhile, Jess confronts the moms over a viral video of some of the girls making fun of JoJo. As Abby scrambles to replace her passport, Maddie is asked to go in her place to an interview, which causes her to miss a crucial rehearsal. Later, turmoil erupts at the ASTRA Awards.

Jealousy and competition threaten the ALDC as the team is divided into two factions when Abby excludes Nia and JoJo from the rest of the planned events in Australia. Kendall, Kalani, Maddie and Mackenzie have to learn a new routine to perform at a private fan event, while Holly brings in Mikey Minden to help Nia prepare to perform her single for the first time live. Holly makes it clear that, if the moms don't show up for Nia's performance, it could be the end of the ALDC as we know it.

ALDC LA is now a reality as the team finally makes its permanent move to Los Angeles. Kendall's video is set to premiere, but the pressure of her debut as a pop star coupled with a solo, pushes her to the limit. Meanwhile, Abby makes a dramatic decision that the Moms fear will jeopardize ALDC LA's first competition.

For the first time in years, Maddie and Mackenzie are competing with solos against each other in the same age category. The pressure is even higher for Maddie--who, in addition to practicing her risky tap solo, has a new video with Sia premiering this week. Abby brings in celebrity guest choreographer Travis Payne to teach the girls a routine inspired by voguing, a style with which they are unfamiliar. They have to not only impress Abby, but also this high-profile choreographer who is a power player in the dance industry.

The ALDC's biggest west coast rival, MDP, is back and Abby wants to put her best foot forward at competition. After Mackenzie's huge win against her big sis Maddie, Abby tests her confidence with a big opportunity--will she be able to handle it? Meanwhile, JoJo's sick grandmother is visiting LA and Jess is desperate for JoJo to have a featured role. However, Abby is not eager to take a big risk since MDP is out for revenge from their last loss.

The moms push Abby for more dance classes after losing two competitions in a row. When Abby refuses to take responsibility for the girls' lack of training, Kira takes matters into her own hands and brings in outside help, infuriating Abby. Kira and Kalani make a big decision that will determine their future with the ALDC.

The ALDC is finally in their new LA studio and Abby announces that their official grand opening party will coincide with Nationals in two weeks!  After Kendall beat JoJo last week, she's rewarded with a solo up against both Maddie and Mackenzie to determine once and for all who will get the solo at Nationals. The girls have tons of fun with a bridesmaid themed group dance and Kira announces big news -- she's five months pregnant!

With only one week left until Nationals, the ALDC is facing the super talented MDP who are bringing their best routine yet. Abby gives Kalani and Nia head-to-head solos to determine who will get the senior division solo next week. On top of prepping for this battle, Nia is really feeling the pressure as she is also shooting her second music video, hoping to cement her status as a pop star. Will she be able to balance both?

ALDC's competition season comes to a close with Nationals and the girls feel the pressure to remain undefeated and prevail in LA over their rivals at Broadway Dance Academy®  But with Abby opening her new studio the day before competition, the girls are left with little time to prepare. The girls give their all to make their leader proud but the tension spirals out of control, leading to a chaotic ending unlike any Nationals before.

Between live performances from the ALDC, Abby and the moms dish on their true feelings about nationals and some of the season's most shocking moments in LA. The moms are divided on hot button issues like Nia's music career, Kira's meltdown, Melissa's favoritism, and Abby's out of control behavior and lack of commitment to the team. Plus, there's a major surprise in store for one of the moms and Abby drops a bombshell!

It's the ALDC's first week of the competition season and Abby starts it off with a bang--a big announcement that will change the future of the team. Maddie's star is glowing brightly as she shoots her first movie and her new substitute on the team is a slap in the face to Jill and Kendall. Meanwhile, Jeanette and her BDA team, the reigning National champs, are back and ready to show the ALDC how dancing is done.

The moms are shocked to learn that Abby is forming a new team, but they're even more surprised when news breaks that Abby could be facing jail time. When Mackenzie receives the brunt of Abby's rage, Melissa vows not to play nice anymore.

Abby's new mini team arrives at the ALDC LA and tensions are high. Distracted by new moms, new dancers and her continuing legal troubles, Abby is hanging on by a thread, and everyone knows it. Meanwhile, Ashlee and Brynn are caught in Jill's crosshairs as Kendall's position on the Junior Competition team is threatened.

It's a full house at the ALDC and the minis are set to compete with their first group dance. Maddie is back and books a prestigious photo shoot with two other ALDC girls. Meanwhile, Maddie and Brynn compete head to head with solo routines. With Maddie's busy schedule, Ashlee sees this as the opportunity for Brynn to steal the title of Abby's #1 dancer. Later, the chaos in the studio proves too much for Abby to handle and she makes a huge announcement that could tear the team apart.

After resigning the previous week, Abby locks the team out of her LA studio. Debbie Allen extends an invitation to the ALDC to work with her, proving that everyone is replaceable including Abby. Special guest choreographer Nakul includes the minis in a difficult Bollywood routine. Kalani and Nia are pushed to their breaking point with an inspired duet while mini Peyton and her mom Kerri struggle with the pressure of two dances. With no leader, the moms fear a disaster is inevitable.

Abby is back but her focus is only on the minis. With only four girls on the unofficial mini team, a new mini and her mother show up to audition and they rub Melissa the wrong way. With the original junior team only competing in one routine, the moms complain when "Maddie's replacement" Brynn is chosen to dance the lead role. With Maddie set to return for good next week, Brynn's future at the ALDC depends on a win.

With the stress of Abby's legal woes looming overhead, she reaches her limit and kicks the girls out of her studio. The moms contact Debbie Allen, who graciously offers her studio so the girls can rehearse for their upcoming Arizona competition. Kira is finally back with the team and Ashlee is ready for a fight.

Maddie has returned from shooting her movie and is back on the team for good, but to everyone's surprise, Abby doesn't seem happy to see her #1 dancer. The moms question if Abby is jealous of Maddie's fame and Ashlee uses this to her advantage in hopes that Abby will spend more time grooming Brynn to be the next big star.

It's a week of duets for the ALDC junior elite team with Brynn and Maddie going up against Kalani and Kendall. But when Kalani's back injury starts to act up and Kira is not there to help, Melissa and the other moms have to step in and do what's right for her. Later, with Kira absent and the original moms distracted, Ashlee takes the opportunity to fill in for Abby's newly fired office manager causing more drama with the other moms.

The ALDC travels to Northern California and Abby's routines are darker than ever. The moms decide to pull a prank but it backfires horribly. Meanwhile, Maddie, Brynn and Kendall compete with solos and Ashlee will do anything to give Brynn an advantage, even if that means becoming Abby's employee.

Maddie is nominated for a People's Choice Award and the media is abuzz with rumors that she is leaving the ALDC. The moms are furious when Abby invites an unexpected guest as her date to the People's Choice and the biggest moment of Maddie's professional career. The minis are back, along with a new mom whose daughter's attitude causes a dance catastrophe.

Abby brings in Todrick Hall to direct the girls in a big musical commercial inspired by The Wiz in an attempt to get new customers to sign up at the ALDC. Maddie and Brynn captain trio teams of their choosing that compete head to head. The pressure is on for Brynn as she will finally become an official member of the ALDC if her trio wins. Can she beat Maddie or will she be sent packing?

Abby has prepared several show stopping numbers this week--including an unusual David Bowie tribute--and the ALDC is heading to Las Vegas. Ashlee and Brynn are now official members of the team but the infighting hits its peak when Kendall stands up to Ashlee for the first time. The moms are concerned that the girls are becoming too involved in the drama but are unsure things will ever get better.

Abby welcomes back ALDC Pittsburgh veteran, Sarah, to dance with the team. Tempers flare when her mother, Christy, calls Jess' loyalty into question. After Abby pulls Kendall and Maddie's duet, Kendall has an emotional meltdown and Melissa seriously questions whether to keep Maddie on the team at all.

Abby's whole world is shattered when Melissa shares shocking news that will change the face of the ALDC forever. But with the ALDC competing three trios and an epic group number inspired by the new blockbuster film, The Huntsman: Winter's War, there is little time to spend mending Abby's broken heart.

It's Hip Hop Week but not everyone is invited. Abby decides to give Brynn and JoJo hip hop solos but gives Mackenzie a safe acrobatic routine. With only two more weeks left on the team, Mackenzie fights for what she wants. Abby doesn't approve of Mackenzie's determination to dance hip hop and flees the studio when the girls need her the most.

Maddie and Brynn have solos this week and the moms are not happy when Abby assigns Brynn a dance inspired by an old Maddie routine. To add fuel to the fire, the mini team is back! The two teams rival for Abby's attention, causing their relationship to take a drastic turn for the worst.

It's one of the saddest weeks in ALDC history as Maddie and Mackenzie participate in their final competition with the team. The two sisters both have solos, but when Abby pits Mackenzie up against a new mini, Ari, it's clear that Abby is more concerned about her future than her past. The moms encourage Melissa to reason with Abby, since this is her last week, but she avoids the confrontation and takes her frustration out on the wrong person, ending her time with the ALDC like she never would have imagined.

Jai Rodriguez hosts a Dance Moms reunion, following Melissa, Maddie and Mackenzie's last performance with the team. The dramatic events of the latest season will be rehashed and the moms will get to speak their minds. We'll also hear from the mini moms on the future of the ALDC. Then, the junior elite team will perform and Abby and the moms will have their last chance to air any grievances with Melissa before they bid her a final goodbye.

The Dads of Dance Moms finally make an appearance to spill their daughters' deepest secrets and show off their own moves.

The season begins with a newly motivated Abby Lee promising to no longer overlook her remaining dancers now that her star, Maddie, is gone. Abby assigns Brynn and Kendall head-to-head duets with boy partners and Brynn struggles with the pressure. When Jess calls out Abby's favoritism for Brynn, Ashlee hits her boiling point.

Abby challenges Nia and Kendall with tough head-to-head trios but the group tribute to Madonna leaves the moms wanting more. Holly suspects Abby has a hidden agenda for Nia but, when she brings Nia's manager to the studio to investigate, her strategy backfires. When talk of the girls' technique erupts at competition, Abby abandons the team.

The minis are back for the first time this season and the elites question if Abby can hold true to her promise of new beginnings. Abby challenges the minis with a beauty pageant themed dance where she will crown one mini queen of the routine. The elites perform a tribute to Prince but feel the pressure to do him justice and fear they will fail to win with another tribute dance. To add to the chaos, Abby assigns two duets: JoJo and Brynn vs. Kendall and Nia. When Nia falls ill, Kendall is once again left without a partner.

Abby challenges the minis with their first lyrical routine. The elites are put to the test when their moms make a shocking decision that leaves them without a group dance for competition. Tensions between the teams get physical and the moms give Abby an ultimatum.
