Synopsis

Koukou is sent to marry the powerful Grand Chancellor Gu Huanzhi to steal secret information, but after her master’s death she discovers he has long known her true identity and has been protecting her. As suspicion, betrayal, and deadly trials test their bond, buried memories reveal a deeper connection between them that changes the meaning of their relationship.
