Light and Shadow in Love

Synopsis

Li Jian, a young man from Zhuozhou, falls in love with Susan, a British woman, challenging cultural traditions and generational expectations within his family. As conflicts over career choices, heritage, and cross-cultural identity unfold, they—and those around them—learn to stand by what they cherish, to find understanding, acceptance, and the courage to pursue love and dreams.
