Synopsis

The village of Vrilo, somewhere in Croatia in the 1950s. After their father’s death, the Runje sisters face a traditional, patriarchal society. The eldest sister, Katarina, agrees to marry the son of the richest man in the village, unaware that their plans are not what they seem. An unexpected crime triggers a chain of events that will test their emotions, strength, and loyalty to the family. Prepare for an unforgettable journey where the fight for family and love proves stronger than anything.
