
A vacation in Bolivia turns into a nightmare when young Norwegian Ida and her two friends are arrested for smuggling. Desperate and far from home, Ida must face betrayal and risk everything on an escape plan to win back her freedom.




After a luxury vacation, Ida, Cecilie and Michelle are arrested with cocaine in their luggage and thrown in a Bolivian prison. Their friendship begins to fray.
Ida wants to keep them together, but is torn between her best friend and her boyfriend. A new interrogation has major consequences, and Wenche wants to cooperate with Cecilie's father on bail.
The bail is doubled, and the girls' only hope is to be acquitted in court. Ida begins to take matters into her own hands, while journalist Joakim goes to Bolivia to interview Ida.
Ida testifies against Michelle, but the verdict is devastating. Isolated and depressed, she gives birth to her son Lucas, and asks Joakim to help her escape.
Ida is on the run with mercenary Tommy, disguised as a wealthy couple on vacation. The goal is the Norwegian embassy in Brasília, but the escape suddenly takes an unexpected turn.
Ida hides in Rio with Tommy, but her plan runs into unexpected problems. When she finally gets a chance to escape, it's so dangerous that she has to do it alone.
