
Sun Woo comes from a poor family background. She was once a promising Taekwondo athlete, but she now works part-time jobs to support herself. One day, she is is selected to become the stand-in for Ji Yeon due to their similar appearance. Ji Yeon is the granddaughter of Beomhan Construction Company's chairman. She was the driver of a fatal hit-and-run car accident. Sun Woo must play Ji Yeon in front of the public and media. Meanwhile, Sun Woo becomes the target of Ho Joong’s hostility. Ho Joong is Ji Yeon’s stepbrother and he has an inferiority complex over Ji Yeon. He wants to become the successor to Beomhan Construction Company.






Similar to Han Ji-yeon, Kang Sun-woo was offered a public appearance after his hit-and-run incident on Jeju Island. Sun-woo agreed to pay for his mother's medical expenses.
Hearing Ji-yeon's story, Sun-woo sympathizes. Ji-yeon, it turns out, was just a victim. When Sun-woo tried to escape Director Yoon's plan, he was kidnapped.
Sun-woo uses his taekwondo skills to escape from the hotel. He meets Young-jae, who helps him. It is revealed that Ji-yeon is in cahoots with Director Yoon.
With help from his fan, Young-jae, Sun-woo escapes from the hotel manager. However, after escaping, he is caught by Ho-jung.
Sun-woo is rescued by Director Yoon. It is revealed that Ji-yeon was the perpetrator of the hit-and-run and planned to kill him. Learning that his mother is dead, Sun-woo goes after Ji-yeon.
Sun-woo incapacitates Ji-yeon at the villa. Director Yoon mistakenly shoots Ji-yeon. Sun-woo escapes and flees the country under Ji-yeon's identity.
