Still reeling from his death, siblings Hanka, Paweł, and Maciek are shocked by a last-minute change to their father's will.

After dealing with the fallout from the altered will, the Mróz family becomes the focus of an investigation when the headless body is identified.

While Maciek looks ahead, Paweł continues his bid for mayor, and Hanka struggles to keep her business afloat. Later, Ola faces scrutiny.

Four years earlier. After leveling with Hanka and Paweł about his will, a terminally ill Johnny tries to find common ground with an aloof Maciek -- but finds his youngest son holds secrets of his own.

Paweł contests the will. A hitman targets Maciek's family. Hanka makes a secret deal to save her business.

Maja forces her family to confess. Paweł's evidence postpones the case. Hanka suspects her husband of murdering Maciek.

Wojtek confesses that the family faked Maciek's death. Hanka, furious, blackmails them. Kocur also learns the truth.
