Jack is a sheltered, closeted boy 19-year-old from Watford, trying to get over his dad's death and work out what he wants from life. Arriving at Brent University, he is thrown together with typical lad Danny, a few years older than the other freshers and confronting the demons of mental health.

Jack and Danny try to find their individual crowds during freshers' week while being banned from partying in halls. However, a night out with fashion student Yemi leads to them both getting far more than they bargained for.

Christmas finds the first years encouraged to create work for Jules's Sexual Health Awareness Week Showcase. Meanwhile, Jack and Danny each try to face up to their own sexual shortcomings.

A still-grieving Jack tries to become more like his famously adored father, Corinne attempts to loosen up, and Danny conducts an experiment with the help of campus dealer Ash. Down at the local pub, the results cause some very messy outcomes for all involved.

A frustrated Jack attempts to lose his V-plates, a pushy Shannon encourages Peggy to get back on the romantic market and Yemi campaigns to be elected LGBTQIA+ society president. Meanwhile, Corinne tries to help Danny get back on his feet.

Jack moves back home for the summer holidays, desperate for Danny to get in touch following his disappearance. After a chaotic family lunch to celebrate Jack's homecoming, Jack and Peggy return to the house with a series of surprises, testing their inseparable bond for the very first time.

It's summer 2014, and the gang are celebrating Jack's dead dad's 60th birthday. While grappling with having nowhere to live, Jack has an eye-opening gay encounter in the toilets. Meanwhile, Danny tries to woo Corinne and cousin Shannon gets a huge shock.

Jack and Danny desperately try to pull a fresher, while Corinne and Yemi succeed in their sexual pursuits. However, a big secret is yet to be revealed. Peggy convinces Shannon to contact her mystery one-night stand.

Danny's dad gets in touch; should Danny give him another chance? Jack stalks his sexy lecturer. Yemi frantically designs a fashion collection.

Jack and the gang plan a huge surprise for Danny, just as his dad visits from Margate. But no one is sure whether to warm to him. Shannon convinces Peggy to start dating.

Jack, Danny and Corinne head for work experience with a banter-obsessed lads' mag editor and an overly keen radio host. Shannon finally meets Tariq the baby daddy.

Everyone descends on Watford Hospital for a long night on the maternity ward, as Jack's whole family have to confront past tragedies before a new, exciting chapter begins

In the opening episode, Shannon wins big at the bingo and uses her winnings to fund a Faliraki summer holi-bobs for the whole gang. Danny, Jack, Corinne and Yemi dive headfirst into the Greek nightlife, navigating cheap cocktails, questionable decisions and holiday mishaps, while Shannon and Peggy dig into their own relationship woes. It's four days of sun, sex and stoned parents, before the final year of uni begins.

It's romantic meals for two at a pretentious pub for our new couples. Meanwhile, widowed Peggy finally has new flame Russell round to hers for a 'cosy night on the sofa', prompting a panicked Shannon to prepare Peggy for any intimate action she may encounter. Elsewhere, SU leader Jules tries to help some of the gang figure out their next big steps in life, while Jack and Yemi spend a night in the Blue Shed, chatting through some home truths and conflicting plans.

Jack's newfound spoken-word habit starts to wind everyone up. Peggy, Corinne and Yemi take their future into their own hands while Danny freaks out about his.

Final year zooms by as the pressure of deadlines mounts. Meanwhile, Shannon throws a Eurovision 2016 party, but her estranged mum is the ultimate party-pooper.
