'Til death do us part. Nikita and Michael pose as a hip and somewhat kinky married couple in order to work on the inside of a group bent on unleashing a deadly nerve gas.

Her probation status is over, but that only mires Nikita deeper in the workings of Section. Yet one thing about Nikita may never change: her willingness to sidestep regulations in order to help the innocent.

Someone has been watching Nikita - someone who now comes forward and offers a foolproof way of slipping free of Section's grasp. Is it the opportunity Nikita has sought? Or is it a covert test of her loyalty?

The secret is out. Someone has hacked into Section's computer and stolen the personnel file. The thief may have planted the microdisc with the file of an unsuspecting civilian - a man that Nikita is asked to woo.

Is there room for romance in Nikita's dangerous life? Her relationship with an architect compromises her on-the-job effectiveness... and could put her beau in the crosshairs of rival agents and Section One alike.

Mission accomplished - but the cost is high when Michael is injured and left behind after a raid on a chemical weapons plant. Rescuing Michael is the new mission. And it leads to the revelation of a troubling Section secret.

Terrorists sneak a nuclear device into the country and Section finds that it's only hope of locating it rests on a childlike pizza deliveryman (Maury Chaikin) who witnessed something suspicious.

It's not a pass/fail program that Section newcomers face. It's do or die. Nikita fully empathises with their plight. However, there's no room for compassion when she's asked to decide the fate of a new recruit.

He skilled, deadly and refuses to crack. Extreme interrogation techniques have no effect on a terrorist (Harris Yulin) who knows the whereabouts of a cache of Cobalt 60... but Section may yet have ploys that no terrorist would suspect.

Love is just part of the job. To obtain a book containing high-level secrets about nations allied with Section, Michael woos the vulnerable wife of a hitman who knows where the book is hidden.

In the high-tech, high-risk world of covert ops, emotions do not compute. A brush with death during a mission rattles the emotions of Section's top electronic wiz and puts him at risk of being cancelled.

Torture Nikita and she won't crack. Torture Michael and she's likely to let her feelings for him get in the way. Red Cell holds the two agents, subjecting them to a painful inquisition to discover the location of Section's command centre.

This assignment could be the way out Nikita's been seeking. In exchange for her freedom, she agrees to protect one of the targets of a Section sting - a target who happens to be the son of Section's top exec.

A little knowledge is a dangerous thing, especially is the knowledge is about Section. A police detective's investigation of a serial rapist inadvertently puts him too much in the way and too much in the know.

Section needs a volunteer, and Nikita is the one volunteered. She's subjected to a mind-control machine that's come into the organisation's possession... and secretly falls under the machine's deadly sway.

Judge, jury, executioner. A band of insurgents is bent on becoming all three when it overruns the Inaugural Ball of a strife-torn nation's new leader. Among the hostages held by the rebels: Nikita.

Total obedience. That's what's expected of Nikita. But she doesn't have the heard to obey an order to destroy a naive young inventor... and Section responds by sending her on a suicide mission.

Nikita: Lost... and found. She's vanished, escaping Section for a return to the workday world. But when Freedom League kidnaps her, Michael develops a bold plan to bring her back to a life of spying.

Can Nikita and Michael make everyone believe the story about the duration of her Freedom League captivity? Jurgen, a suspicious special operative overseeing Nikita's retraining, is asked to ferret out the truth.

Nikita befriends an operative whose mission performance is complicated by a secret: she's pregnant. Walter faces the dreaded "Three Year," Section's mysterious psych interrogation of senior members.

Michael returns from Red Cell captivity in a confused state - a condition that could lead to his cancellation. Operations is jealous over Madeline's interest in a Valentine ops (an agent used to romance enemy spies).

An enemy hitman long believed to be dead resurfaces as a Section operative. But the agent's true intentions show when he kidnaps Nikita and issues his ransom demand.

In order to crack a baffling terrorist code, a boy wonder who graduated college at 13 is recruited in the Section way (i.e. kidnapped). Will he be returned to the everyday world after the job.

Her job is to complete the mission without question or qualm. But working with a Section-sanctioned informant who is a contemporary Jack the Ripper may be more than Nikita can bear.

Section One goes into lockdown after Red Cell slips an anthrax variant into the complex. Meanwhile, on the outside, agents Nikita and Michael seek the medical authority who reportedly possesses the antidote.

It's just business. Nothing personal. On orders from Section, Michael romances and seduces the group's new profiler. But when the truth comes out, the profiler isn't willing to love and let live.

Section - and Madeline in particular - confronts an A.I. supercomputer that masterminds an elusive terror operation. Michael's temporary command of Section leads to a political showdown with Operations.

An exiled ex-operative who was Madeline's husband finds a way to reconnect with Section and wants to come in from the cold. But Operations has his own way of reconnecting. He orders Nikita to kill the man.

The mysterious woman who years ago created the anti-terrorist Sections now has a new agenda: destroy the organisation she created. To do that, she needs someone on the inside - and she chooses Nikita.

Michael vs. Nikita? The secret lovers appear to be on opposite sides after Nikita steals the ultra-secret data file that suggests that Section is allied with a brutal Middle Eastern dictator.

What to do about ops who know too much about the death of Section's creator? Kill them all: Nikita scrambles to avoid becoming a victim... and discovers a secret about Michael while doing so.

Michael's secret: he's in an arranged marriage - arranged by Section to reel in Vacek, his wife's after and a financier of global terrorism. The marriage has lasted three years, and now it's close to landing Vacek.

Michael's new assignment: prison and his wife Elena. But what Michael can't do, Section will. It puts Elena's health in danger in hopes of bringing her after, a notoriously elusive terrorist, to the surface...

The loss of his family leaves Michael shattered and ineffective - a condition that Section will not long tolerate in any agent. Birkoff finds a file that could have damaging implications for Operations.

Nikita is Section's operative inside the lair of a sadistic entrepreneur who turns kids into killers and sells them to terrorists. What she finds there is shocking. What she later finds inside Section is even more so.

To eliminate a popular politician who may have ties to terrorism, Section enacts a methodical campaign aimed at driving his wife to a murderous rage. One complicating factor: the woman is the ex of Operations.

Double trouble! While Nikita is held hostage by Red Cell, the terrorist group plants a look-alike Nikita inside Section One and forces the real Nikita to provide remote guidance to the mole.

Do. Or die. Section One uses a murder frame-up to compel a civilian with a photographic memory to join the team, causing Nikita to suspect that she may also have been entrapped by Section in a similar way.

Operations is known to be remote and ruthless yet always coldly logical... until now. A psychotropic drug renders him delusional and untrustworthy. But there may be a method to his madness.

Nikita poses as the fiancee of an unsuspecting, memory-cleansed terrorist linked to the potential sale of anthrax rockets. The man represents everything Nikita loathes. But, strangely she's falling in love.

Nothing clouds an agent's future like the past. Walter can't resist a rendezvous with an old flame. And attempts by Nikita's mother to find her daughter could result in the elder woman being hushed by Section assassins.

When a mission-gone-wrong results in the disclosure of a Section substation, Nikita is falsely blamed for the breach of security and faces termination.

The only thing better for Nikita than getting out of Section forever is getting out with Michael. It appears that may be happening when Michael asks her to escape with him. But appearances can deceive.

An assignment puts Nikita inside a modelling agency that's a front for prostitution... and for female death matches held for the amusement of the male clientele. Operations has an affair with an Oversight ops.

She's cramming all the can into the days she has left. A terminally ill civilian who happens to look like a known terrorist is recruited by Section, given a crash-course in spying and sent on an infiltration mission.

A severe security breach leads to the order to evacuate and incinerate Section One HQ and sets in motion a fierce field operation to find and terminate the person who could compromise the whole Section network.

Power politics: Michael assumes full command while Operations is away... and may not be very willing to relinquish control when he returns. Charges of Michael's favouritism towards Nikita arise.

Divide and conquer: Section command, concerned that Michaell's relationship with Nikita will affect his judgement, schemes to end the romance. Birkoff and Walter woo the same woman.

It's not an external assignment. It's a death sentence. Birkoff thinks Operations intends to have him killed when the communications expert is placed inside a youthful terrorist cult.

Enough's enough. Madeline responds to the increased cruelty of Operations and makes what may be a gambit to gain Section control by conspiring with Oversight to undermine the Section One chief.

Michael and Nikita's burning love could get them scorched - especially when Madeline and Operations suspect that the pair's secret liaisons are covers for planning the takeover of Section.

Keep the operatives, kill the love. Still determined to end the Michael/Nikita romance, Section carries out a plan to erase Nikita's emotions of love. Birkoff schemes to save Walter from forced retirement.

Something is differs about Nikita. Has section's mind-control scheme removed her ability to form emotional attachments? Michael has suspicions... and becomes a marked man as he scrambles for answers.

Kill Michael! But bringing the elite agent down is easier said than done as he closes in on a stunning secret: Section's creator, a foe of Operations long presumed dead, is alive and held in cryo-containment.

Gambling that Michael will not attempt to kill Nikita, Operations send her and a team of lookalikes to terminate him. But the ruse fails and Michael is able to broker a deal that reinstates him inside Section.

Michael's again part of Section... and racing the clock to counter-program the damage done to Nikita. Birkoff provides cover so Michael can be alone with her and a treatment seems to work. Or does it?

Married to the job. And to the enemy. Posing as drug dealers, Nikita and Michael cozy up to a weapons dealer who, smitten with Nikita, proposes marriage. Operations' order to his femme agent is clear; accept!

Nikita has her secrets. As it turns out, so does Helmut Volker. He's not who he appears to be - he's actually a knowing player in this bullet - and subterfuge-filled espionage world of Mr. and (near) Mrs.

Operations mixes personal feelings with power when he assigns Michael and Nikita to assist a man who presumably helped the Section One leader in Vietnam. Birkoff finds he has a twin brother on the outside.

Nikita is mysteriously released from Section and receives an even more cryptic order: Kill Operations. Complicating the order is its source... and the revelation of Operations' secret family ties to Nikita.

After a bio-breach, Oversight sends a Bio-Med team to scan for viral contamination - a process that in reality steals agents' memories/expertise for future uploads into recruits who will become perfect agents.

Oversight provides an agent to assist Operation's hunt for a missing Command Clone Program: an agent with telekinetic and clairvoyant powers and the emotional control of a child... because he is a child.

Michael and Nikita are put in charge of the accelerated training of raw, attitude-filled recruits, only to discover that the newbies - along with Michael and Nikita - are to be sent on a suicide mission.

"A woman in love may prove to be a more formidable opponent that the one she loves," Michael says. And that's especially true when Madeline falls for a high-level Red Cell captive. Birkoff faces his brother.

A Section operative is detached, methodical, professional, impersonal... except where family is involved. Michael learns a Valentine op is romancing his wife Elena and that she's a target of a terrorist group.

Either he's right, or they're all dead wrong. Birkoff pinpoints the location of Red Cell's elusive Cardinal. But a failed attempt to retrieve the rival leader angers Oversight and puts Section One's existence in peril.

An A.I system Birkoff develops turns renegade, endangering the lives of personnel and protecting itself from shutdown. Only Birkoff can defeat the rogue machine. But the attempt may cost him his life.

Welcome, y'all. Posing as geologists Michael and Nikita enter a tiny, backroads Tennessee town to hunt for a downed ComSat Alpha satellite. Birkoff's twin brother awakens to find he has been 'recruited'.

The investigation into the activation of the facility's self-destruct codes leads to a lone hacker... and gives Operations a chance to play the geek's 'war game' for keeps against Red Cell. Jason begins training.

A deranged junk collector adds something new to his collection: Nikita. he finds the injured operative after a failed mission, restores her to health and holds her captive in chains. Object: matrimony!

Operation Madness. Section gives Nikita a psychosis-inducing drug so that she can be admitted to a psychiatric ward for a mission. But the institute's meds and therapies may be more than she can overcome.

Has Nikita turned? She cooperated with Red Cell, imperils Michael and undergoes a process to give her a new face. Meanwhile, Section ratchets up the pressure on Jason to assure he becomes Birkoff's double.

She looks and sounds like com expert Quinn. But she isn't Quinn... and she has a profound influence on Michael. Plus: Jason wraps his mission. Isn't it just like Section to reveal there's now another?

Nikita and Michael's absence causes a leadership void in Section, yet that doesn't stop Operations from deciding to cancel one of them when apprehended. But a wild card interferes: the mysterious Mr. Jones and his even more unexpected accomplice.

Her days as a field operative are over... but not for long. Mr. Jones reneges on his promise, reassigning Nikita to Section One and sending her to infiltrate a meeting of terrorist factions.

Together again: Operations and Madeline - but this time, she is a computer simulation. Section tries to uncover the Collective. Nikita seeks answers as to why she was originally recruited.

It's like a high-risk scavenger hunt. The disc Nikita found has coordinates that may tie to the answers she's seeking. Meanwhile, the mind-control process forced upon her tightens its disorienting hold.

Continuing to combine her personal quest with Section forays, Nikita decides to get answers from the top. But is Mr. Jones really the top? And is he really Mr. Jones?

He's the real Mr. Jones. And he's Nikita's dad. But Nikita's meeting with him isn't the father-daughter reunion she may have imagined, not when events reveal the presence of a mole inside Section.

Some problems can be simply eliminated. But sometimes things aren't so simple. Operations' attempt to kill Nikita and Center's subsequent attempt to kill Operations leave both elite agents alive and at odds.

One in, one out. Michael returns under a cloud of suspicion. Operations dies in a firefight. But Michael's return may be brief: The Collective kidnaps his son as a way to lure him back.

A devil's bargain. The Collective will surrender Michael's son for Nikita's father, Mr. Jones. It's an agreement Jones will accept ... if Nikita becomes what she never wanted to be: the new Operations.
