CMT's eight-episode series reveals all the behind-the-scenes action of the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleading try-outs as girls struggle to make the team, survive boot camp and make their big debut as one of the most famous cheerleaders in America. In the one-hour season premiere, hundreds of excited and anxious Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders hopefuls arrive at Texas Stadium for the preliminary auditions. After performing their freestyle dance routines for the judges, only half make it to the semi-finals. At semi's, they are taught the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders' style of dance, along with the legendary kick line. Amid tears of joy and disappointment, only half the girls are called back for the finals, where they'll compete against the seasoned veterans to earn a spot in the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders Training Camp.
